Like it or not, whether it’s “cool” or not, many are turning to the scooter as their secondary or even primary means of transportation. Maybe it’s a question of economics. Maybe it’s The Boomers enjoying a more comfortable ride. Whatever it is, it seems scooters are here to stay as this Wall Street Journal article indicates.

Scooters are here to stay I’m sure. They are so much fun to ride that once people get them (for whatever reason) they are going to find out just how much fun they are and never want to give them up. I don’t see motor scooters being a passing fad even if the price of gas goes WAY down!
